We've reached wait list season

We're seeing the biggest turnout for Dyer Babe Ruth registration in years! And that's great news -- mostly.

If you're trying to sign up and being asked to join our wait list, it's because we want to make sure we have enough players to round out a team. We don't want rosters of just 9 players (someone inevitably misses a game), but we don't want rosters of 16 either (we want everyone to get ample playing time). We use a wait list until we are sure we have enough players to create balanced teams.

As of this week, our 16-18yo league has started a wait list; and we're just a couple of 13-15yo players from starting one there. The best way to get promoted from the wait list is to encourage your friends to join -- which is a big reason to be playing ball anyway!

If you're still trying to sign up: Click the "login" button in the top right corner of the screen to get started. Your account profile will include requests for your child's name and birthday so the system can assign him or her to the appropriate age division (13-15yo or 16-18yo).

Once you're logged in, click the "Available Programs" tab to see which leagues are available to you. You can also see this information from your account page.

We expect our 13-15yo and 16-18yo leagues to play 15-20 games, plus each league has held an end-of-season tournament. Everyone typically begins practicing around April 1; the 13-15 season runs from late April-mid June, and 16-18s start around the same time and wrap in July.
